New complete floor and floor crossbeam, A panels, front
wings, front apron, L and R side of windshield scuttle, rear valance,
L and R
door steps, L and R outer sills, Rear sub frame mounts, R and L
trunk
floor,
trunk hinge panel, new seam covers, W&P style fender flares. The
front end
is an all steel removable front with a normal opening hood. No visible
external
mounting for this.
Body completely stripped to bare metal, all repairs
completed, primered, seam sealer applied to all seams on both sides,
rock guard
applied on inside and outside of floor, inside of roof, under all wheel
wells
and front apron and rear valance. All inner sections coated in several
coats of
anti rust paint (Zero Rust) and then treated with Rust Check after
final
painting. 4 coats of color, three coats clear, all Dupont Chroma
Premier paint,
inside and out, all surfaces.
Rover
Tahiti Blue Pearl body and Mazda Sunburst Yellow roof. All exposed
steel/aluminum surfaces coated with clear enamel to prevent discoloring
or
rusting. (ie sub frame bolts, trumpets, etc),
Exterior
New windshield, new mirrors and mounts, new grill and side
trim, new front signal lights, new stainless steel bumpers front and
rear, new
seam trim, all new rubber and locking strips for windshield, rear
window, side
windows, trunk lid and doors. New door locks and window scrapers.
Stainless
steel wiper bezels, grommets and washer nozzles and custom ‘Mini 1600’
and
‘VTEC’ badge on rear.
Interior
New carpet and underlay, new headliner, Toyota front seats
fitted to recline and to tilt forward for rear access, refinished Mini
rear
seats and door panels, rebuilt old style dash and switch panel with all
new
toggle switches, 3 clock center pod with AutoMeter electronic
speedometer, Mini
temp gauge and MG (Smiths) gas gauge. Mini eyeball air vents retained.
New
starter switch assembly.
Mechanical
Complete new rear sub frame and suspension with later drum
brakes. Complete new front sub frame with 8.4” discs, new CVs and boots
(all
new parts transferred to VTEC frame). (includes new rubber cones,
shocks and
complete brake assemblies as well as all new rubber suspension bushings
for
both front and rear). Polyurethane front sub frame and tower mounts and
new
rubber lower mounts. New clutch master, rebuilt brake master (both
silicon
brake fluid), all new slave brake cylinders, front brake pistons and
brake
parts (came with new sub frames). All new brake lines, clutch lines and
hoses.
5X12” Minilite MK2 wheels fitted with Falken 165/60 tires.
1600cc Honda SOHC 130hp VTEC from 1994 Honda Civic Si. Less
than 40,000km on the engine and 5-speed transmission. Mounted in custom
sub
frame with all Mini suspension components. Custom made drive shafts,
Mini outer
splines, and Honda inner splines. Two custom radiators for cooling, one
with
electric fan, custom intake manifold with K&N air filter, new Honda
alternator on custom alternator mounting bracket, stock headers, custom
exhaust
system made to look like RC40 style. Modified Honda shift linkage using
standard Mini location for mounting. New high-pressure fuel pump with
pre pump
filter and Honda pre injection filter on firewall. Fuel pump protected
by
impact switch, opens in the event of an impact.
Honda engine harness with stock Honda ECU. Rest of car is stock
Mini
wiring for all lights, wipers etc. New fuse block.
